Forget your perfect offering.
There is a crack in everything.
That is how the light gets in.

What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle but profound manual therapy. It is considered to be a Western medicine modality but it meets other traditions in the universal principles of spirituality. It developed from Osteopathy at the end of the 19th century. The "father" of Craniosacral Therapy William Garner Sutherland discovered that bones in the human cranium periodically move in so-called cranio waves. This movement, which is palpable in the body, carries information about the person and their past traumas. As practitioners, we listen and we follow the body's own wisdom until we reconnect with its ideal and healthy state. The role of the practitioner is to create a safe and unconditional space for the client, follow the body's movement and listen to its stillness until the body unwinds.
Each session is a unique and precious encounter of the practitioner and the client.

Mare Ignotum
An unknown territory or an area which no one has explored yet used to be marked in historical cartography as terra incognita. Analogically, undiscovered waters were mare ignotum.
Life in a body expresses itself through a cranio wave - a piezoelectric field. This field is palpable. It is like an ocean, an ocean of consciousness. It flows though bones, muscles, the brain and the spine. It moves the cerebrospinal fluid and regulates the nervous system. The cranio wave carries both the conscious and the subconscious. As we bring awareness and light to the unknown and the forgotten, we heal. There is so much we don't know. There is a vast ocean of consciousness to be explored - Mare Ignotum.

Bio
My first experience with Craniosacral Therapy was in 2007. It was the second year of me suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I started regularly working with a practitioner in Prague and within a few months I slowly gained my life force back. This powerful healing experience impacted me and motivated me to share with other people what saved me and what I really believe in. I gradually turned from being the client it into being a practitioner myself.
I completed my first Craniosacral training in Prague, Czech Republic in 2013. It gave me a strong foundation of the biodynamic approach and deep listening. When I moved from Europe to California I finished my 500-hours massage certification to deepen my understanding of Craniosacral Therapy. I started studying Visionary Craniosacral Work® with Hugh Milne in spring of 2016. I have assisted most of his classes multiple times. I graduated from the training at the Milne Institute in June 2021.
Being a Craniosacral practitioner is for me about continuous deepening of my skills and being fully present with my clients. Being a dancer, also a passion of mine, is just a different perspective on the art of listening.

Classes in 2022
I have been studying and practicing Craniosacral therapy for almost a decade. My background comes from branches of biodynamic craniosacral work and Visionary Craniosacral Work©. Over the years I have been very curious about exploring consciousness, energy and the immense power of healing and transformation. The depth and subtlety of this work does not stop amazing me and I get constantly reminded of how much more there is to learn, to see and to understand. There is no limit.
However, the time has come for me to start sharing what I know. I feel blessed, grateful and excited!
